When Jade mentioned to me she wanted pink peonies for her wedding, I squealed like a little girl on the inside! One of my favourite flowers and I get to make this happen on her wedding day. Stunning beautiful Sarah Burnheart peonies, with splashes of magenta colours throughout each flower. They were just perfect.
Jade was married down the south coast in Berry, in a cute little church. Attaching babies breath bundles on the pew ends and vase arrangements were placed at the end of the aisle. Then it was off to Silo's Winery, the guests tables had a candelabra with a little moss garden bed around the base with pink roses and hydrangeas popping out of the moss. Every second table had a mix of different spring flowers in a fishbowl vase with matching flowers used through out the day. Clusters of sweet peas, hydrangeas, peonies, roses, queens lace, babies breath, eucalyptus gum foliage, hellebores and rhododendrons. Such a pretty pink and white flower mix.
We place flowers throughout the wedding venue. From the wine barrels, dessert bar, also the wishing well. Which was two old rustic suitcases, which was fun to create a little garden wonderland. The wedding cake. So cute, little cake toppers of the bride and groom with clusters of peonies on each tier.
The wedding photographer (Nigel Unsworth Studios) on the day captured the below photo in front of Berry tea shop, it won and it was a winning award photo. Pretty excited those gorgeous peonies were apart of that.
